Neptune's Necklace is a green-coloured brown algae. It can grow to 30 cm in length. It has many pieces all joined together and looks like a string of pearls.
Neptune's necklace attaches itself to rocks.
Neptune 's Necklaces are found on sheltered rocky shores in southern Australia. They are usually attached to rocks.
Sea urchins, crabs and fish eat Neptune 's Necklaces.
