Here are the staff you'll meet when you visit Kidspace or do one of our programs for 5s and under.

Hi, I'm currently studying Early Childhood Education at the University of Wollongong, NSW. I love working in Kidspace! My favourite puppets are the dragons, the fuzzy caterpillar and our giant new shark.
I can remember a time in Kidspace a couple of months ago, when I saw a young boy madly sweeping the floor with the broom near the boat. His mum asked "what are you sweeping up?" "I'm cleaning up pelican poo!" he said innocently. (In Kids’ Island we have stuffed birds hanging from the ceiling).

Hi, do you like my funny caterpillar? I have been working in Kidspace while studying Early Childhood Education and have lots of fun with visiting children.

Hi, Buzzy Bee and I have had many adventures helping children up into the balloon, down the slide, into the deep dark tunnel and all the way into the house.

Hi, I love it in Kidspace. There's just so much to play with... One of my favourite times is Family Day (on Thursdays) when I get to read a really cool story to all the kids that visit (they have great pictures too) and then we get to do a craft activity after - this is so much fun, we can get all messy and be really creative and all at the same time we are learning.

Hi, you might find me on your travels through Kidspace. Often you will come across me and my best pal Derik the sea dragon. Don't be scared of my friend Derik. He may be a dragon, but I can promise you that he is very very friendly.

Once upon a time in Kidspace there was a 'Butterfly Princess' (that's me) and she was rescued from the fire-breathing dragon by this unlikely frog. Is he really a prince?

Hi, I just love working in Kidspace and have been part of the team since it opened in mid 1999.

Hi kids, this is Herbert the really shy snail, he is waiting to meet you all in Kidspace, hope to see you soon.

Hi kids, come and join me and all the little animals for a fun adventure in Kidspace.

Hi, in Kidspace I love playing with the three-headed dragon and going on adventures in the hot air balloon. My favourite Kidspace memory is the day a group of French circus performers came to visit. They played circus tunes on the musical instruments and wore the kangaroo pouches and tails as beards and hats!

Our treasured volunteers.

Hello, I'm Sarah. I have the wonderful job of developing and running all the Museum's early childhood programs. I'm the lucky person who chooses all the great toys in Kidspace.
