The Australian Museum has several outreach programs of interest to education groups who cannot visit the Museum in Sydney. Select from the following programs to find out more.
This outreach program is for schools and other education groups in New South Wales. There are many boxes, on a variety of topics related to people and culture or to Australian animals. Individual boxes are available for loan with a charge to cover freight. Find out more about Museum in a Box.
This Study Day is designed for senior secondary school students studying the Biology topic 'Evolution of Australian Biota'. A limited number of these popular Study Days are held each year. Find out more about Evolution of Australian Biota Study Day.

Lizard Island Research Station, on the Great Barrier Reef in far north Queensland, is run by the Australian Museum. Secondary and tertiary students are welcome to use the Research Station's facilities for educational field trips organised by their own institutions.
