The Value of Remnant Vegetation for birds

From 1995-1997 research has been carried out on birds in the fragmented landscape of the NSW Wheatbelt. Six times a year, we camped for two week periods in State Forests to study the ecology of the local bird species on both private and public land.

The following photographs were taken in the field and may give some insight into how our research is carried out.
