Diversity Fieldwork Gallery

Species diversity and genetic diversity of invertebrates in an agricultural/woodland landscape.

Since November 1997 work has been carried out on Wolf Spiders and sap-sucking bugs, in the fragmented landscape of the New South Wales Wheatbelt. Approximately six times a year, we camp for two week time periods in the local State Forests to study the effect of fragmentation on the species and genetic diversity of wolf spiders and sap-sucking bugs.

The following photographs were taken in the field and may give some insight into how our research is carried out.
