 Scientific Literacy - Ancient Egypt
The following teaching activities focus on the procedures involved in mummifying people and animals. Older students will also be encouraged to follow an experimental procedure to find out which salt compound best mummifies an apple. They will record their findings in a results table, a visual summary of a procedural recount. To enable students to successfully follow and use a procedure, a summary of procedural stages and language features has been outlined below.
