- BugWise, a project that measures invertebrate biodiversity in NSW
- Creation of Research Fellowships
- National BioMaps program, a program that will display species distributions and help quantify threats to biodiversity
- Purchase of equipment, especially adapted for children, for environmental and conservation education programs
