Nuddij (Richard John Bennett)

Nuddij (also known as Richard John Bennett) was born in 1961 of a Tarwun (Northern Territory) father and Barkinji (New South Wales) mother. He has been doing artwork most of his life, with carved emu eggs only one of his specialties. His work shows both western New South Wales and Northern Territory influences, in both subject matter and style. In this example a crocodile dominates the work but it is carved in Barkinji style.
