Chris Jones is an emu egg carver from the Black Opal mining town of Lightning Ridge. Chris has been carving eggs for the past 10 years, since he was 14 years old and carves a variety of motifs. The emu egg featured highlights Chris's passion and support for the local football team the Ridge Redbacks.
