Picture Sydney - Landmarks of a new generation

Introduction

Picture Sydney
An exhibition of black and white photography by nineteen young people aged 12 - 17.

What do young Sydneysiders think are the most important landmarks of their city? Drawn from suburbs all over Sydney these images will surprise and amuse you with their wry perspectives on what makes Sydney special.

Sponsors

Picture Sydney is jointly funded by the NSW Department of Education and Training and the NSW Heritage Office and is generously supported by the Australian Centre for Photography, Kodak and Superprint.

This project is based on the Landmarks series developed by the Getty Conservation Institute, Los Angeles.
