Research

The Australian Museum has a history of research into the biology of Australian and Pacific mammals dating back to the early 1900s. Past curators of mammals include Ellis Troughton, Basil Marlow and most recently Tim Flannery. There is no research scientist position in the section at present, however, research is currently being carried out by several Research Associates.
