How can a newly discovered animal species be named after yourself, family or friends? By supporting Australian Museum scientists research Australia's unique environment with a tax deductible donation.

One of the primary roles of scientists at the Australian Museum is to investigate and understand aspects of Australia's biodiversity. Our experts collect and research Australia's animal species and investigate how these species interact with their environment.

Your generous 'Immortals' donation of AUD $5000 or above to the Australian Museum Foundation helps scientists research and preserve Australia's delicate ecosystem for future generations.

The Australian Museum will thank you for your donation by naming a newly discovered invertebrate (animal without a backbone) in your honour!

You will also receive a commemorative certificate with details of the biology and ecology of your newly named animal species.

We invite you to support native Australian animal diversity research today!

No one puts it better than media personality and science guru Adam Spencer, "by honouring the life of someone who matters to you, you let us learn more about life itself. Just ask my daughter who shares a name with a Fijian fly!"
