Dr William White is an ichthyologist at CSIRO Marine & Atmospheric Research, Hobart.

Will is an expert on the biology and taxonomy of chondrichthyans (sharks, rays and chimaeras). He is senior author on the recently published ‘Economically Important Sharks and Rays of Indonesia’.

Will visited the Australian Museum in January 2007 to examine specimens of Mandarin Shark stored in the tank area. The data resulting from his examinations will be compared with those taken from specimens examined in Indonesia.
