We used two boats throughout the expedition, the Mary Chris and the Michelle and Mikie Jnr. The outrigger design gave the boats speed and stability.
The canopy on the Mary Chris provided welcome relief from the tropical sun, but on a number of occasions it had to be taken down because of high winds.
