Every day the team members dived at least once to collect fishes. Specimens were identified and their names were added to an increasingly large species list for the Island.
The beautiful Clown Triggerfish Balistoides conspicillum in the image was collected near Puerto Galera, northern Mindoro Island.
This species is easily recognised by its distinctive pattern, with large white spots on the lower half of the body. The Clown Triggerfish has a widespread distribution across the Indo-Pacific.
