This Ornate Rainbowfish Rhadinocentrus ornatus was collected from a small stream in Alstonville (see previous image).
The Ornate Rainbowfish is known from coastal freshwater streams of southern Queensland to northern New South Wales.
This species may have either blue or red fins. We collected only red-finned specimens from this creek.
