The Fish Department - Fieldwork
north-eastern New South Wales, 2002
One of the beautiful sites visited was the Salty Lagoon north of Evans Head. It took a walk of about 20 minutes to reach the lake, which is separated from the beach by dunes.
At this site we collected both the Shortfinned Eel and Longfinned Eel. Leave the fieldwork site to view the Longfinned Eel fact sheet.
