The team was keen to not only collect adult and juvenile fishes, but also to do some larval (baby) fish sampling.
This image shows Helen, Jeff and Tom preparing the fine-meshed ring plankton net. This piece of equipment is towed at slow speed behind the boat to collect larval fishes.
