Up Close and Spineless Travelling Exhibition

mantisUp Close and Spineless is the Australian Museum's Invertebrate Photographic travelling exhibition.

To raise awareness of the wonderful world of invertebrates, the Australian Museum ran a competition to find Australia's best photos of invertebrates. The competition was open to both amateur and professional photographers. The 52 winning entrants are now available to tour.

Did you know that over 99% of all animal species are invertebrates (animals without a backbone)? Or that invertebrates comprise over 30 major animal groups and over five million species?
