What is it made of?
It is made of magnesium, uranium, oxygen, phosphorous and water. It is an autunite group mineral.

Where was it found?
Ranger No. I Mine, South Alligator River, Jabiru, Northern Territory, Australia.

What is it used for?
Saleeite can be a minor source of uranium. Uranium is used as fuel in nuclear power reactors and in the manufacture of medical radioisotopes.
