Bristle-nosed Freetail Bat

Scientific name: Mormopterus sp. (unnamed by science)

Where they roost:
These bats probably roost in trees.

What they eat:
Their diet is not known, but probably includes insects.

Conservation threats:
Vulnerable to loss of tree hollows and loss of feeding habitat by extensive vegetation clearing and land degradation by agricultural activities.

Other information:
There are few records of this bat. Its habitats include open woodland, acacia shrublands and hummock grasslands. This species has thick bristles on its snout.
