'Granddad', the Australian Lungfish that was sent from an aquarium in Sydney to the Shedd Aquarium in 1933, in time for the World's Fair that year. Shedd officials believe that Granddad was about 10 years old when he arrived. This means that 'Granddad' is probably the world's oldest fish in a public aquarium.
